Nerve damage in the feet (neuropathy) — pedal feel is a safety function

EXAMINER'S CALL

The $49 Medical Card Kit — $49, one-time payment

The checker reads your verdict. The Kit gets you through the exam: documentation packets for your condition, the two 45-day form clocks run as a calendar, the official medication form packet, waiting-period calendars, failure recovery, and the examiner phone script.

What the federal text says

Neuropathy is judged functionally: the federal concern is whether sensation and control in the feet (and hands) are sufficient for safe pedal and control operation. There is no published sensation threshold. Examiners assess function directly and weigh specialist documentation; severe loss of protective sensation in the feet is the hard end of the scale.

What that means for you

This one is decided by what your feet can actually do and feel, demonstrated and documented — not by the diagnosis word.

What moves the outcome

Bring neurology or podiatry documentation describing sensation and function in functional terms. If your specialist uses monofilament or vibration testing, those results are the language examiners read.

Which mode is this?

This question is NOT decided by federal text — the text leaves it to the examiner's judgment. Any site that prints you a pass or a fail here is inventing law. What moves this outcome is documentation, and that is what this page gives you.

Only a certified medical examiner on the National Registry can certify you. FreightVerdict reads the published federal standards — it does not certify, diagnose, or treat, and nothing here is medical advice.
