The checker reads your verdict. The Kit gets you through the exam: documentation packets for your condition, the two 45-day form clocks run as a calendar, the official medication form packet, waiting-period calendars, failure recovery, and the examiner phone script.
Federal source: 49 CFR 391.41 (no cholesterol standard exists) · Rules checked October 2026
No cholesterol value — total, LDL, or any other — appears anywhere in the federal medical standards for drivers. Cholesterol enters an exam only as background to the cardiovascular picture (it is part of why examiners care about heart history), never as a measurement that passes or fails anyone.
A high cholesterol result cannot fail your physical, full stop. If a clinic page implies a cutoff, it is inventing one — ask for the citation.
Nothing to bring for cholesterol itself. If your clinician treats it alongside heart conditions, those conditions have their own pages here.
This question is NOT decided by federal text — the text leaves it to the examiner's judgment. Any site that prints you a pass or a fail here is inventing law. What moves this outcome is documentation, and that is what this page gives you.
Only a certified medical examiner on the National Registry can certify you. FreightVerdict reads the published federal standards — it does not certify, diagnose, or treat, and nothing here is medical advice.
