What the federal text says

Advisory criteria address aneurysms by size and symptom: a small, asymptomatic aneurysm under surveillance may be certified with specialist documentation and periodic imaging, while larger aneurysms — the Handbook's guidance centers on the roughly 5 cm class for thoracic aneurysms — and any symptomatic aneurysm are not certified until repaired. After surgical repair, a waiting period of about 3 months applies before certification with specialist clearance.

What that means for you

Size, symptoms, and surveillance decide this one — which is why the output routes through your vascular specialist's numbers rather than a checkbox.

What moves the outcome

Bring the most recent imaging with the measured diameter in writing, the surveillance interval your specialist set, and — if repaired — the operative report and clearance after the 3-month mark.

Which mode is this?

This question is decided by the federal text together with its published advisory criteria — clocks, thresholds, and specialist files. The verdict above follows the cited criteria; your documentation is what proves you meet them.

Only a certified medical examiner on the National Registry can certify you. FreightVerdict reads the published federal standards — it does not certify, diagnose, or treat, and nothing here is medical advice.
